TRADITIONAL MUSIC FROM IRELAND. Siamus Creagh & Aidan Coffey. Absolutely
lovely music on fiddle and accordion. The most appropriate comment I heard
on it came from the flute-player Harry Bradley  completely devoid of
pretence. Essential listening.

LIVE FROM PATRICK STREET. Patrick Street. Song and music from Kevin Burke,
Andy Irvine, Jackie Daly and Ged Foley.

RAINY SUNDAYS. Andy Irvine. This one has been unavailable to us for quite a
while. Backing musicians include Paul Brady, Donal Lunny, Liam OFlynn and
Frankie Gavin.

RAIN ON THE ROOF. Andy Irvine.  Andy has tended to sell this only at gigs,
not making it available to shops. Weve now managed to get a supply of it.

RETURN TO KILTY. Paddy Hayes & Johnny Ray. Competent box playing with guitar
accompaniment.

JUST HARP. Laoise Kelly. Great harp playing by the harpist with The
Bumblebees.

DAWN. Andrew MacNamara. Great accordion playing by the Tulla musician. Watch
out for his most amazing version of Miss McLeod.

THREE SHOUTS FROM A HILL. CIAN. Debut album by young group. Superb
concertina and flute playing by Padraig Rynne and Brian Duke. Rather heavy
guitar and bodhran accompaniment, and atrocious singing (but only two
songs).

IIST. Various Artists. Songs in Irish by Brian Kennedy, Altan, Maura O
Connell, Kate Bush, John Spillane, and more.

IRISH BALLADS AND SONGS OF THE SEA. Dan Milner. Excellent collection of
songs from the days of the sailing ships. Well-sung, with assistance from
Louis Killen, Mick Moloney, Andy OBrien and more.

TEARS OF STONE. The Chieftains. The Chieftains with The Corrs, Loreena
McKennitt, Joni Mitchell, Siniad OConnor and more. Why did the chicken
cross the road?

MYSTIC HARP 2. Derek Bell. Twenty captivating melodies written in the
Celtic tradition by Donald Waters, and played by the harpist from The
Chieftains.

ALTAN COLLECTION. Altan.Yet another compilation from Altans pre-Virgin
days.

THE BEST OF THE DUBLINERS. The Dubliners. Again? This is not a new Dubliners
 album.

COME TO DANCE. John Whelan.  New album by the Waterford accordionist now
living in the US.

WAKING NED. Various artists. Soundtrack by Shaun Davey for popular film of
the same name.

THIS IS MY FATHER. Various artists. Soundtrack by Donal Lunny for popular
film.
